When I press the EPG button the programmes displayed only go from 700 to 804. I can only therefore record programmes in advance by using the Timers option, which, apart from being a slower method, results in the programmes coming up in the Recordings Library with just the channel and the date - no programme title or info.

After experienceing random re-boot errors with earlier Hitachi/Luxor PVRs, but liking the Hitachi/Vestel on-screen menu systems (and not liking our Humax's), I recently bought a Hitachi HDR5T01.
The HDR5T01 seems to work well but the font size is very small and uncomfortable to read at our normal viewing distance (2-3m).
There's nothing in the User Manual, and Argos Customer Services says there is no way to increase the font size. I can find nothing online about this, but can't believe we are the only people having difficulty with the font size.
Can anyone advise whether this is normal and whether the font size can be increased?

On catchup it only shows bbc iplayer and not the other channels.
Random recorded picture and sound freezes during playback(not HD). Will freeze for anything up to 30 seconds and then restart if left, and play for some hours without freezing again. Suspected it might be tied in with the second tuner starting recording but the fault is not consistent. Software version is UK-v1.22.1 and cant find newer firmware.
cannot get out of conflicting timers no matter which button on my control I press. unplugged it to see if I can re boot later
Not recording due an error occuring. Can you eplain what the error may be?

picture breaking up or freezing when playback
Four channels stay permanently highlighted on epg
Have tried re-installs but they stay the same.
I think it might be causing the warning box to appear
when watching live TV and recording one channel
and it turns over to channel being recorded.
When I view Library Recordings text is so small it is hardly readable from a distance
How can increase the size of this?

Solution 1: Have solved this by doing a first-time installation - menu, settings (the spanner icon),installation then first time installation.
