When I press the EPG button the programmes displayed only go from 700 to 804. I can only therefore record programmes in advance by using the Timers option, which, apart from being a slower method, results in the programmes coming up in the Recordings Library with just the channel and the date - no programme title or info.

How do I do this please?
Do I have to wait until the programme is actually running to stop this recording mistake, or can I stop it before the starting time?
My box keeps saying NO SIGNAL. without the box my tv signal is at 98%. I have added a booster but still no luck
On playback of recordings the box freezes for about 3 or 4 minutes then starts up again? This happens about every hour on playback I may take it back to Argos had the box 4 months after returning a Bush recorder just kept missing recordings on that (i think it is the same company as Hitachi) apart from the one fault of stopping it does a very good job,If I could fix the fault it would be the perfect box for me BRIAN THE TRYER
Unit has stopped working after about a year's trouble-free use.
Unplug power supply for 5 minutes then plug in again. After about 1 minute LED display shows "init". LED display goes blank then after about 2 minutes shows "inst". Unit does not progress beyond this point.
Have tried using a more powerful 12v PSU to no avail.
please give me a list of tv channels i should be getting
Hi had my box for over a year now and the sound has become distorted. The tv is new, isn't that. Got a new ariel and it is still happening! Took the box and tried it on my other tv upstairs and it still sounds awful. Any advice would be very welcome :) thanks
Picture is blocking and pixalated on SD channels but the HD channels are fine.
Record light comes on but when recording starts error comes up and it does,not record
I am getting the 'cant schedule a recording' box every 30 secs like 2 othyers above.

Hi I have just bought my second Hitachi HDR5T01.
When I put in a programme to record all is fine.
When I watch a programme I have already recorded and run it forward to miss the adverts it takes out my new recording times for the programme I have just entered. The Bush does the same. What's all that about

Solution 1: Have solved this by doing a first-time installation - menu, settings (the spanner icon),installation then first time installation.
