On some occasions Icecrypt stops recording before the program has finished. Any one with the same problem - solution welcomed.
My icecrypt t2400 hdpvr won't start up all I get is a brief light flesh when switched on nothing else
Hi my t2400 will not turn on all of a sudden. When switched on the knob and button briefly flash blue then nothing. No display just a humming. What's gone wrong?

(Click on a problem to comment or help)My t2400 is very poor at connecting to my projector via the hdmi lead. All my other vodeo sources connect to the projector without issues, but the icecrypt needs to switched off and on again (sometimes several times) before projector connects to it. Ive read this is an HDCP issue, but my Youview box connects without problems. Its a real pain getting a picture.
The box is recording all the time and I can't get access to anything on it. Although it is showing record it is not recording anything.
when recording it doesnot always stop recording unless i hit the stop button
Volume is very low even on maximum volume
hit the P/N button on remote now no picture at all! 1600 model
I get system telling me no signal try aerial booster but when i plug aerial direct to tv its fine.
I have 1tb and a 2tb icecrypt 2400 both units have the same problem, I have 9 series folders that can't be deleted, I have no files in the folders but the unit thinks it as files in each folder, I have tried numerous times to delete without success, this problem seems to occur when you empty the files from the series folder leaving the series folder open, thinking you have more recording to be stored when in fact the series recordings
have finished. Can anyone help.s
Is there any solution to the problem on a T2400 where, if you use fast forward, pause, rewind or any other control when playing back a recording that hasn't yet finished, the audio is lost on the recording - DVC
Says no signal on screen! When auto tune doesn't find channels??

T2400 Failed /partial recording. The failed recording is hi lighted in blue on the EPG. This has only started to happen recently

Solution 1: I'm not sure it's the same for every model but if you press record twice a menu comes up with a record duration on, might be worth checking?

- I have had this problem recently.I could hear the hard drive start up but no picture on TV and no display on front of Icecrypt.
BEFORE this problem happened I was watching the TV and the screen went black.The Icecrypt was showing the channel on the display even though I had no picture.Icecrypt seemed frozen.Swithed it off at the back and then on again.That's
when I started getting "the won't start up problem",with the brief light flash on the front switch of the Icecrypt..Tried switching on and off at the back of the Icecrypt,leaving it off for a few minutes each time.Nothing except the noise of the hard drive starting.Had thought that is the end of the Icecrypt.Tried switching on at the back for a last time and lo and behold it started up as normal,so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.(Sometimes it's worth unplugging the Icecrypt from the mains for a while when it plays up-definitely a rather tempremental device!)

- Also got this problem. I assume it's a typical power supply problem with failed capacitors but more info would be great.

Solution 1: I had this very same problem, the previous poster has hit the nail on the head. I took the cover off, and sure enough there was blown capacitor on the power board. (Identified by the bowed top on the capacitor, tops should be flat). Replacement capacitor from ebay came in at £1.78 (3300uf 10v) simple soldering job and jobs a good 'in. Box now working fine again. Was on the cusp of buying a Humax PVR, but want to wait for the next generation of 4k PVRs, so thank you previous poster, saved me £200!

Solution 1: Could be hard disk failure.
