Problem: How do i stop series recordings

Solution 1: if you want to stop a series recording. go to program that is set and delete

Problem: A very simple action that I can't find an answer to; how do I cancel or stop a current recording

Solution 1: Press the 'guide' button & scroll (up or down) to the item ur recording. Az u know, there will be a red circle with an R on it, just press the 'record' button on ur remote & it shud say, 'stop recording' ... press OK - problem solved (hopefully) lol. Happy viewing, xx

Problem: have just bought a goodmans digital recorder GD11FVRST50 installed it, can get all tv stations thru the recorder but when it is put on standby cannot pick up any stations on the tv message comes up no signal -any ideas what is wrong

Solution 1: You have to fit aerial splitter to the "RF IN" socket on back of DTR. Then connect a lead from the splitter to the TV. In effect you then have separate leads to DTR and TV and you will be able to watch TV when DTR is on standby.

Problem: What does the reserved part in the library mean? It looks like that’s what recording time I have left but then says next to it “remaining” 190 odd hours left I don’t understand it!

Solution 1: Reserve part in library is recordings waiting to record, ie part of a series recording later.
Remaining is the recording time left on hard drive. On my HDD information bar the reserved part is shaded 'yellow' used, 'red' remaining, 'green

Problem: My gv 102zrh seems to have stopped recording new programs, but the ones on series link still record perfect. It says 80% remaining. I have switched off overnight, but no difference

Solution 1: The linked series might be causing the problem. Try stopping all the series, channel retune,turn to standby for a good 20 minutes, turn back on and re-set the series. If any old series re-appear at a later date you will need to stop them as above. Hope that helps.
